Customer Transformations: February 29 – March 4

Happy Monday, everyone! Another new week means another round of our readers’ most fabulous Before & After submissions. We saw some terrific transformations this week, and it was no easy task to narrow them down to our five favorites. The photos we chose demonstrate how dramatically new floors can transform a room. Ready for some inspiration? Keep reading to see this week’s makeovers. And when you’re done, remember to visit our site to see even more!

Robert Hassan – Gainesville, GA

Before Robert put his house on the market, he remodeled the kitchen – including swapping the dated flooring with our Kensington Manor Amber Hickory laminate. The new floor, with its distressed appearance, lends rich texture and rustic charm. The dark tones highlight the crisp white cabinetry and complement the countertops. The result is a stylish space where anyone would enjoy spending time. “The remodel was beneficial in getting the price we wanted,” Robert wrote. “The home sold within a few weeks of listing.” Nicely done, Robert; we love the new look!

Matt Clark – Grove City, OH

Matt installed our Cathedral Grove Cedar laminate in his kitchen and dining area, and it looks like a whole new room! Featuring tan and chocolate hues as well as natural-looking streaks that mimic cedar, the floor adds a dash of character to the space. The color contrasts with the cabinets for added visual interest. “We are so pleased with the floor!” Matt wrote. “It was easy to put down and looks so beautiful with our decor.” We think so, too, Matt; great job!

Andrew Grassi – Statesville, NC

Two dogs plus two cats added up to dingy carpet in Andrew’s living room. The solution? He installed our Bellawood Williamsburg Oak Rustic hardwood – and the transformation is dramatic! Paired with the stately furnishings, the floor’s signature reddish-tan hue and distinctive glow produce a space filled with classic appeal and warmth. “Very happy with the end result, as you can see from the pictures,” Andrew wrote. It looks great, Andrew; we’re impressed!

James Yeske – Kingsland, GA

Though they’d never installed flooring before, James and his wife spent a couple of weeks replacing the floors throughout their entire 1,800-square-foot house! In the bedroom, swapping neutral carpet for our Pioneer Park Sycamore Click Resilient vinyl takes the decor to a whole new level. The surface – which emulates natural wood right down to the vivid color variations and graining – imbues ample warmth and appeal. “We’re really happy with our new floors!” James wrote. “They look amazing!” Great job, James; thanks for sharing your story!

Jessica Carbone – La Plata, MD

Jessica wasn’t a huge fan of the “dingy old carpet” in her living room, so she removed it in favor of our Morning Star Peking Antique Click Strand Bamboo. Along with being extremely durable, the bamboo floor offers a cutting-edge look that’s completely unrivaled. Thanks to the new floor, a geometric rug, and fun art, the living room is filled with modern flair – though still a comfy and cozy spot to hang out. Terrific work, Jessica; thanks for sharing your photo!

Thanks to everyone who shared his or her success story with us last week; we always enjoy seeing the transformations in each home. For more inspiration, be sure to check out our Before & After site!
