Welcome back, readers! This week, we’re kicking off 2016 with a post that’s chock-full of amazing Before & After submissions. It was difficult, but we narrowed it down to five customer photos that really exemplify how a new floor can transform your home. Head over to our site for more inspiring transformations, and read on for this week’s favorites!

Benjamin Bolin – Atlanta, GA

beforeafter-267

Benjamin decided to upgrade his living area by swapping his carpet for our Delaware Bay Driftwood laminate, and he couldn’t have made a better choice! The laminate’s light, airy creams maintain the tone of the original floor while bringing casual charm and on-trend style to the space, and its weathered appearance adds subtle personality. Thanks for posting, Benjamin; we love your new living room!

Tami Sierakowski – Kirkland, WA

beforeafter-266

This past fall, when Tami installed our Handscraped Golden Teak throughout her entire home, she left her kitchen tile untouched. But after living with her new hardwood floors for a few months, she quickly changed her mind! The wood does wonders in her kitchen, its dark, golden browns contrasting against her white cabinets while adding wonderful warmth. “Love it as much as the rest of the house!” she wrote. We love it too, Tami; fantastic job!

Brandyn Jacob – Rochester, NY

beforeafter-269

Unfortunately, Brandyn’s basement had a “small water disaster” – but fortunately, there was a silver lining! He used the damage as an opportunity to renovate the space with our Dunes Bay Driftwood, and he did an amazing job: The laminate’s whitewashed finish blends seamlessly with the light beige walls for an open, inviting atmosphere. The room feels cool, yet warm; classic, yet modern. “Turned [the basement]into a cozy family space,” he wrote. We’re impressed, Brandyn!

Kathleen Gay – Fayetteville, GA

beforeafter-268

Kathleen’s kitchen originally had “ugly green tile flooring,” but not for long! She updated her kitchen cabinets, added a granite countertop, and installed our Antique Click Strand Bamboo for an absolutely gorgeous finish. The bamboo’s natural beauty evokes an understated elegance that instantly takes her kitchen from ordinary to extraordinary. Amazing renovation, Kathleen!

Kristy Mottler – Ontario, NY

beforeafter-270

We just can’t get enough of Kristy’s new kitchen! Our Dunes Bay Driftwood completely transforms the space, its cool tones complementing the dark cabinets and silver appliances for a sleek, modern feel. The laminate’s light gray, white, and beige hues pull together every shade of the room for a satisfying cohesiveness, and its weathered graining adds just the right amount of complexity. Wonderful job, Kristy; we love it!

Thanks to everyone who shared his or her success story with us last week; we always enjoy seeing the transformations in each home. For more inspiration, be sure to check out our Before & After site!
