Happy Monday, friends! It’s another new week, which means we have a fresh batch of before-and-after submissions from readers just like you! Whether bamboo, laminate, or hardwood, these floors make a major difference in the spaces featured below. In one case, the flooring isn’t actually used on the floor at all! Intrigued? Keep reading to see all the pictures – and don’t forget to visit our site to see even more room makeovers. Who knows, these photos may just inspire you to reinvent a room in your own home!
Tiffany Lopez – Aurora, CO
A swath of neutral carpet dominated Tiffany’s living room and dining area – it was pretty enough but plain. The skyrocketing wow factor came in the form of our Morning Star Midnight Ultra-Strand Bamboo! The smooth texture and deep hue – an alluring mix of browns and tans – inject both elegance and warmth. In addition, the floor’s color beautifully complements the room’s coffee-colored scheme. An added bonus? Any spill or crumbs in the dining area clean up easily. Great job, Tiffany; we’re very impressed!
Aaron Diaz – Longwood, FL
Aaron was ready for a change in his living room – and installing our Morning Star Peking Antique Click Strand Bamboo was just the ticket! Brimming with rich texture and natural beauty, the floor is the perfect complement to the stone mantel that serves as the room’s showpiece. Additionally, the vivid brown hue cozies up the wide open space, creating a retreat that’s as inviting as it is elegant. It looks fantastic, Aaron; thanks for sharing your photos!
Rebecca Kaufman – Oak Lawn, IL
The existing neutral carpet didn’t quite mesh with this brightly colored bedroom. Rebecca decided to install our Dream Home Flint Creek Oak laminate – and the rest is history! Unlike the carpet, the floor’s eye-catching gray hue (a hot trend right now) shines rather than fading into the background. Sleek and modern, the surface looks right at home with the bright hues and eye-popping rug. We love the new look, Rebecca; terrific job!
Janice Helmly – Rincon, GA
During a recent home remodel, Janice swapped the light-colored dining room carpet for our Dream Home Bronzed Brazilian Acacia laminate. The new look speaks for itself! The surface, which features a range of natural wood colors, lends style and sophistication. The dining room looks prettier, cozier, and even more welcoming. “Love it,” Janice wrote. So do we, Janice; nice work!
Ken Kich – Pittsburgh, PA
Here’s a special makeover: Ken said he wanted to add character to a “plain white-walled fireplace” – and he certainly succeeded! Our Virginia Mill Works Tobacco Road Acacia hardwood, which features a distressed surface, adds a healthy dose of rustic character and natural beauty. Thanks to the dramatic makeover, the fireplace serves as a stylish focal point – and it’s the perfect spot to cozy up for conversation or relax with a good book. We love your fireplace project, Ken; thanks for sharing!
