Happy Monday, friends! We’re excited to share some very special home makeover projects with you. Our valued customers sent in numerous before-and-after photos, and we had a tough time selecting just five to feature here. From sleek bamboo to timeless hardwood, the newly installed floors take these rooms to the next level. Keep reading to see this week’s new looks – and visit our site to get inspired by all the fantastic submissions.

Steve Pringle – Brookings, OR

beforeafter-433

The neutral carpet in Steve’s family room was pretty uninspiring – but our Lexington County Oak Wirebrushed hardwood changed everything. The deep brown hue imparts depth and distinction, and the distressed surface (produced by brushing the boards with wire bristles) imbues rich texture and character. Steve was happy with the results, and his dog seems to be a fan too. “We should have gotten a chocolate Lab,” Steve joked, referring to the hardwood’s rich brown hue. Terrific job, Steve; the room looks great! (And don’t let your dog hear you say that.)

Chen Diep – Littleton, CO

beforeafter-434

Chen liked our Bellawood Select Red Cumaru hardwood so much that he installed it throughout the entire first floor of his home – including in this fabulous family room. Also known as Brazilian teak, Red Cumaru is one of the hardest floors available. The hardwood adds timeless beauty and eye-catching character, thanks to its distinctive grain patterns and dramatic color variations. With the new floor, classic furnishings, and stylish rug, this family room really shines. Great job, Chen; what a terrific transformation!

Barbara Mccall – Dillon, SC

beforeafter-435

Goodbye, dated floor – hello, fresh new look! Barbara installed our Magnolia Springs Hickory click vinyl in her kitchen for a dramatic dash of style. The ultra-realistic surface looks just like wood, with its eye-catching striped graining and a range of natural colors. The high-impact look coordinates beautifully with the light palette and existing woodwork. “Amazing floors,” Barbara wrote. We agree, Barbara; we’re very impressed!

Juan Barrios – Whitehall, PA

beforeafter-436

Juan’s kitchen got an elegant update when he added our Beach Cottage Oak Engineered Vinyl Plank (EVP) Flooring. The easy-to-install floor, which looks like hardwood, features subtle oak-inspired grains and a dark chocolate hue. A gorgeous contrast to the white cabinets, the vinyl injects visual interest and a high-end look. “Amazing and super easy to work with,” Juan wrote. “This job was done within 1.5 days!” Love the new look, Juan; thanks for sharing!

Bryan McClure – Beaverton, OR

beforeafter-432

Bryan had a goal: to replace the worn living room and kitchen floors to make the rooms seem larger and warmer. Mission accomplished! Our Morning Star Strand Carbonized bamboo gives the space a modern yet cozy vibe. Along with being eco-friendly and durable, the floor features rich texture that adds liveliness and a vivid hue that complements the color scheme. Thanks for sharing your photos, Bryan; what a great makeover!

Thanks to everyone who shared his or her success story with us last week; we always enjoy seeing the transformations in each home. For more inspiration, be sure to check out our Before & After site!
