Karen Smith – Raleigh, NC

Our Tranquility Ultra Grizzly Bay Oak Click Resilient vinyl was the perfect choice for Karen’s partial kitchen remodel. As it combines the look of hardwood with the ease and durability of resilient vinyl, the new flooring adds distinctive personality to her kitchen. While the old flooring had a unique design, it didn’t quite fit the style of the space. Now, however, our vinyl perfectly complements the newly painted cabinetry and stainless steel appliances with its rustic gray hues and exotic plank pattern. What’s great about this flooring is that it can be installed virtually anywhere and uninstalled if it needs to be moved to another room later one. As for cleaning, well, that’s breeze! Our vinyl is waterproof, making it perfect for kitchens, mudrooms, and bathrooms. “We love the durability with kids and pets,” Karen wrote. “And it’s so easy to clean!”

The new flooring looks marvelous, Karen; we love what you’ve done with the place!

Mark Mulherin – Malcolm, NE

Mark installed our Bellawood Matte Hickory Natural Solid hardwood flooring in his living room, and talk about space! This flooring, which is made for those who prefer the simple elegance of an oil-rubbed floor without tedious maintenance, offers a low-gloss, oil-finished look without the need for constant re-oiling. It’s guaranteed to look beautiful for years to come; the new flooring not only adds dimension to Mark’s living room, but it brings considerable warmth and reflects the natural lighting. Each plank is textured and comes with dramatic knotting and unique grain patterns for a one-of-kind look. Put together, this flooring is sure to draw the eye. Since it’s scratch and scuff resistant, Mark won’t even have to worry about his furry feline sinking his or her claws in. Choosing this flooring means choosing a lifetime of exceptional beauty and quality for your home.

The floors came out great, Mark; excellent work!

Michael Nelson – Winchester, VA

If you’re looking to install new flooring, but you’re a little hesitant to do it yourself, don’t be! Michael self-installed our Dream Home Delaware Bay Driftwood laminate flooring in his basement after removing 30-year-old bright red shag carpet. This transformation is unbelievable. The new flooring is definitely easier on the eyes, that’s for sure. It adds casual charm with an on-trend design; our laminate is inspired by the weathered appearance of driftwood and features light and airy creams, tans, browns, and grays for a stylish look reminiscent of timeworn wood. It looks great with the basement’s wood-paneled walls. The best part? This flooring is moisture resistant, durable, and has a sound-reducing core. It’s also incredibly easy to install – you just simply click it in place!

Our jaws are on the floor, Michael; awesome job!

Linda Santana – Phoenix, AZ

This transformation is another example of what you can do just by yourself. Linda installed our Morning Star Distressed Silver Stone Engineered bamboo flooring not only in her kitchen but in the rest of her house as well! With the cabinets painted a darker color than before, the new flooring can’t help but be the main attraction. Since it features a distressed, smoky look with a distinguished design, our bamboo is not just gorgeous. But it’s also environmentally friendly. As a grass, bamboo grows much faster than wood and can naturally replenish itself after cropping. This renewable resource is great for high-traffic areas and is very easy to clean. When Linda installed our bamboo, she gave her kitchen a much-needed upgrade. The new look definitely belongs on the glossy pages of a home design magazine.

Thanks for choosing us, Linda; we love it!

Barbara Krupenas – Lompoc, CA

Last but not least is Barbara’s wonderful renovation. She installed our Bellawood Select Bolivian Rosewood Prefinished Solid hardwood flooring in her living room, bedroom, and hallway. Before, the carpet made her bedroom look slightly outdated with its brownish monotone coloring. Our hardwood, however, offers elegance and uniqueness, and it ranges from light to medium brown with reddish tones and some occasional black striping. We won’t be surprised if Barbara suddenly starts to feel like royalty. But this flooring is more than regal. As an extremely durable wood, this flooring performs very well in both homes and high-traffic areas and is much easier to clean than carpet. Barbara made the right investment when she chose our hardwood, which is proudly finished in the U.S. “Could not be any happier with how it all turned out,” Barbara wrote.

We couldn’t be any happier either, Barbara; bravo!

Thanks to everyone who shared his or her success story with us last week; we always enjoy seeing the transformations in each home. Be sure to check out our Before & After gallery for more inspiration!
