Bought this threshold with my laminate floor. It matches perfectly and looks nice and finished. But the instructions printed on the package were so small I couldn't even read them with my glasses on. (thank goodness for Youtube videos)
And they included NO SCREWS. I had to make a special trip to the hardware store to get them. Come on really?
I like this product because it come in long lenghts 7ft-9in.

Q:Is there an accepted way in the field to cut back laminate that has already been installed? I have installed 12mm butterscotch oak (St. James) to within 10mm of my patio door (planks perpendicular to the door). Thought I could get away with just using primed shoe molding to cover the gap, but it doesn't look professional. So I bought lumber liquidators butterscotch oak end cap moldings (SKU 10022865), so I'll need to widen the gap to 1 & 1/8". Any suggestions as to how I might do that?
A:Please call our Tech & Installation Dept. @ (800) 366-4204 for help with this question. Thank you for your inquiry.
Q:How wide is the gap needed between the wall and the flooring.
A:1/2" gap required to any vertical obstruction.
