Morning Star Bamboo Flooring is one of the best bamboo floors on the market today. It is produced from old growth bamboo reeds that are at least 4 years old, thereby increasing hardness. Morning Star Bamboo Flooring creates a naturally beautiful and ecologically friendly product that evokes a feeling of luxury.

Quick Highlights:
- Real Bamboo
- Eco-Friendly
- Low Emission Adhesive
- Glue or Nail Down
- Premium Finish
- 30 Year Warranty

Strand
Twice as hard as oak, strand bamboo is an optimal choice for busy homes when durability is needed to stand up to the wear and tear of family foot traffic, active kids and even pets.

To make strand bamboo, shredded bamboo fibers are compressed under extreme heat and pressure.  This manufacturing process yields flooring that is even harder and more dense than traditional bamboo floors. Available in a variety of colors to complement and décor, all Morning Star strand bamboo products are finished with premium coating and backed by a 30 year warranty.

And, since bamboo is a naturally sustainable grass that re-grows spontaneously after harvest, you can feel good about making an environmentally friendly flooring decision.

It's simple...
Eco-Friendly. Beautiful look. Beautiful price.

    Anji Bamboo-Love the Look

    Pros

    • Classy Rustic

    Cons

    • Splinters

    Best Uses

    • Main Living Space

Installed in our main living/dining and foyer. It is a very nice looking floor but rustic enough to disguise nicks or scratches.
This was our first install of wood floors and it went fairly smooth. Used the 18 gauge nailer experimenting with different foots and air pressure to stop the splitting of the splines.
So far the only scratches occurred when we forgot to remove the carpet sliders from under a heavy piece of furniture and slid it after grit was underneath. It still did not scratch very bad. I recommend rubber faced gloves for the install. Very fine needle like splinters are plentiful on the backside of the planks. Top is smooth. We absolutely love the unique look. Best description is rustic but classy.

Put this floor in my family room. It came out absolutely gorgeous. So happy to have gotten rid of the carpet. Me and a friend were able to install almost 400 ft.² in about 10 hours. After reading all the reviews and watching how to video on glue down process there really wasn't any surprises. We would cut and lay down three or four rows, mark the floor with chalk line on last row, pull boards up and then add glue, put boards back down and then blue tape them to decrease slipping. It felt really good to have completed the floor and it looks absolutely gorgeous. However, for a 40-year-old I was really sore and will hire someone next time :-) The best tip I can provide is with the glue process: instead of trying to pour out of the 4 gallon bucket and not pour too much each time we used cheap ladles bought at the dollar store. This worked so well because we didn't have to lift heavy bucket and it have us better control of how much glue we used for each section.

We are very pleased with the look and quality of this bamboo floor. We were set on handscraped oak flooring and not considering bamboo until we saw this in the showroom. It looks great. The burnsihed edges give a slight rustic feel but not a barn look. One must is to use the 18gauge nail gun which worked flawlessly. I was stubborn and tried to use the 16 gauge at first.

We can only recommend our Bellawood Floor Cleaner, or cleaners that are safe for water based urethane finishes. Never use any polish, wax, oil soaps or cleaners that add shine to the floor. In addition, we do not recommend using steamers or wet-jet cleaning systems for hardwood because spraying can collect moisture in between board edges. The use of these products is at your own risk.

Yes. When using area rugs or pads, use a rug pad with a felt, plant or PVC based backing. DO NOT use area rugs with a petroleum based rubber backing (typically black) as this can cause permanent chemical staining/etching of the floor finish.

Despite today's advanced technology, water spills, dirt and other abrasive substances can damage a wood floor's finish. Location, traffic patterns, how often the floor is vacuumed and cleaned, children and/or pets are all factors that influence wear and durability.

To restore the original shine of a solid bamboo a screen and re-coat may be needed or a complete refinishing. A professional sand and finish expert would have to make the determination on site on which sanding process will be needed or which can be done to restore the floors shine.
