I understand WHY the nose is not actually cork, but it would have been nice to know that in advance. We were a bit disappointed when it arrived and was a photo of the cork laminated onto the floor nose piece. It is a nose piece that does rise above the level of the cork floor, somewhat like a floor threshold, but that doesn't really bother me. I only gave it 3 stars for now, but I want to see over time how it wears in comparison to the actual cork flooring. I do have to say that you don't really notice that it is a different material than the cork flooring, which is nice.
I wouldn't use this again. I would buy a wooden stair nose in a complimentary color. The color is way off, the stair nose doesn't lay flat and the joint was so wide I had to caulk it.
Matches the cork flowing it goes with perfectly. Appears to be good quality.
