Comments about Virginia Mill Works 1/2" x 5" Richmond Plank Handscraped:
Handle on crockpot of spaghetti sauce I was carrying broke causing the crockpot to fall to the floor and crack in half and it didn't even leave a mark on the floor. Great product for the money! I get so many compliments on how great this floor looks. The only con would be I would not install in a room that gets lots of sunlight. Shows dust easily. Go with a lighter color if you like the style. Mine is in rooms on the north side of my home.

Q:I installed this floor in my living room, I would like to stain a closet door. Do you have a suggestion for a color stain?
A:Unfortunately this stain is not available in a can for retail sale. I would recommend bringing a scrap piece of the flooring (and bring a piece of the same wood species you will be staining) to paint store and they should be able to match the stain for you. Thank you for your inquiry.
Q:Where is this one made and how thick is the actual wood layer? Thanks.
A:The Country of Origin for this Engineered flooring product is China.
