I would recommend this product for installatiom.

I have installed wood and laminate click flooring. The vinyl is a little more tricky due to it bending. Also wood recommend the pull bar and not a tapping block. I found installation much easier using the pu;; bar after a couple rows with a tapping block,

Nice looking flooring, but difficult to install.

By Ray

from Tyler, Texas

The 1 ft x 2 ft tiles were very difficult to install in our bathroom due to the requirement that it to be tilted at 45 degrees in order to snap together.

Very nice product

By Karen

This was more difficult to lay than laminate but it was for a kitchen and bathroom so we wanted something that would be better around water. It is easy to cut with a jigsaw and circular saw, saved a lot of time instead of using a razor knife.

Product seems to be good, made in China.

I don't know where other come in saying it is easy to install. This is my 11th flooring job, although first using the vinyl. I had to call Paul in public relations to get the secret to making both vertical and horizontal click together. He told me to first put in the short end (12") and use a pencil or screwdriver to lift up the previous piece and the one going in so you can try and get that 45º angle and click. Took some learning and doesn't work all that well in tight corners. But it got done. I started at 7 am and completed my 8x9 bathroom at 3 pm, with only a tub and corner closet by the entry door in the way. I also used a table saw and jig saw to cut the vinyl as that worked better than playing around with a box cutter. As I said this stuff is pretty tough. So overall, I think this product is good, but don't tell me it is a "click it and forget it" thing. It is very hard work.

Looks nice

I'm a builder by trade and have done different types of flooring. Snap and clic , yes. But hard do snap in the long edge. Needed a block of maple to hammer the edges tight. I also needed some old Pergo floor pullers to drive them tight when I got to the walls. Took two days to install 180 sq. ft. in a kitchen with a big help from my daughter.

Nice Floor

By tatluver

from Grand Rapids

Pros

  • Great looks, Solid Floor

Cons

  • A little harder to install than long planks

Best Uses

Very Happy with the product. The smaller size 12x24 planks made installation a little more challenging, I struggled with fitting some pieces together, That being said It is definitely worth it. Solid feel under foot, decent texture overall good experience..

    Pros

      Cons

      • VERY VERY HARD to install

We bought this because we loved the pattern... but it is so hard to interlock... we finally got it but it took way longer than it should have. If you are having it professional installed then buy it.

What is the recommended cleaning method for Tranquility resilient flooring?
Asked on 9/1/2016 by Deborah from United States

            A:

We can only recommend our Bellawood Floor Cleaner, or cleaners that are safe for water based urethane finishes. Never use any polish, wax, oil soaps or cleaners that add shine to the floor. Thank you for your inquiry.

        • Q:

I want to install this product myself and have installed parquet flooring and laminate flooring before. My question about this floor - when I lay down the planks next to existing cabinetry would I be able to cover the gap with a quarter round? I understand that the quarter round will work where there is existing base board and quarter round already. But against the cabinetry is just flat in the front so the gap will be noticeable. If needed, I can send a picture of the situation I am trying to describe.

            A:

            RADIANT HEAT
 TRANQUILITY Resilient Flooring is suitable for installation over Radiant heating systems provided that the
heating element is not in direct contact with the Resilient.
 New heating systems should be running two weeks before installation to remove residual moisture.
 Lower temperature of heating system to 60°F for one week prior to installation.
 Gradually increase temperature in increments of 10° per day to avoid "shock" to resilient flooring.
 Surface temperature should not exceed or sustain 85°F
You can find complete installation instructions on the product page by clicking on the installation tab and then clicking on - Installation Guide.

I love the look of this product and actually purchased to install in a bathroom. However, I found the existing bath floor to be in good condition. I want to purchase more and install in a room that will b used as an art studio. Reading several customer comments, I see that the products separates sometimes after installation. Why is this and what is the solution? Geographic location is in the central Florida coastal region, high humidity. Could that be a factor?
