The Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve was founded in 1975 on the farm of Virginia Creasey Mahan and Howard Mahan. The 168-acre Preserve is now dedicated to enriching the community through conservation, education and community enjoyment.
The Nature Preserve offers outstanding environmental programs to hundreds of children each year, sustains a wildlife refuge, preserves 200-year old historic buildings, offers unique meeting places, recreational fields, and provides a scenic environment for families and individuals to connect with nature. With over 45,000 visitors in 2016, it’s a well-loved destination in the community.
Lumber Liquidators partnered with the organization in 2017, providing 650 square feet of engineered vinyl plank for a facility update.
