In November 2014 the Habitat for Humanity of the Peninsula & Greater Williamsburg held a home dedication & ribbon cutting ceremony for five new homes near Lumber Liquidators’ headquarters in Virginia! Food and shelter are basic human needs and the organization is dedicated to building affordable housing for families in the community. Through the assistance of staff members, volunteers, local partners, schools, donors & more, Habitat for Humanity is able to build and rehab safe homes for low-income families.

Lumber Liquidators provided Butterscotch Oak Laminate flooring for the Smith Family’s new home. At the home dedication ceremony, families received the keys to their new houses. They are ready to move in and make these houses their homes!

Lumber Liquidators is happy to play a small part in this organization’s mission to provide housing to local families in need. To learn more about Habitat for Humanity and to see if a chapter exists in your area, visit
