Comments about African Mahogany Laminate Reducer:

I had to put this in, along with my brother, after I lost my job. It took us a minute to get the hang of it, but once we did, it moved much faster. He is a carpenter and has a Building Science degree, so he knows what he is doing. We had some spaces come up and realized that we were hitting the planks too hard when we tightened them up. After finishing, I found several small gaps but am not about to pull it up, as they are hard to notice. It also seems to scratch easily and I have had to go back and blend these scratches in with the colored floor crayons. Over all the color is great and looks good!

Used as a transition from Porcelain tile. Used construction adhesive to install directly to floor. Looks fantastic. I had a 12 foot transition so I used two lengths butted together. The butt seam is very tight so it looks good but wished it came in longer lengths for my job.

I love my floor. It transformed my whole kitchen. The installer was very professional with his estimate and the installation. He left no mess and does a great job on the installation. Best of all, his estimate was correct and there were no surprises.

1 inch is the minimum to allow for proper expansion space. The top of the T measures1-5/8" wide.

One inch is more than any laminate overlap reducer is designed to handle.
I have seen a solid wood reducer at the home center in the flooring dept that could work.
