Like I said you have to have it to complete the installation process, unless you can make your own. Very costly for what it is and you have to provide the screws yourself.

Q:how do i install this
A:A U-track fastens to the subfloor and molding is pushed in place from one end to another (like a zip-lock bag). For details please type, "transition" here - www.lumberliquidators.com/ll/flooring/Flooring101
Q:I need a transition from tile to the laminate. My tile is about a 1/4" higher. Will this reducer work for me?
A:This may work or you could use our T-molding SKU #10022146
Q:I was wondering how much of a gap do you need between the laminate edge and the lower tile/or carpet? the other edge I had required a 1 and 1/8 in. gap.
A:I would leave approx. 1 inch.
