Don't waste your money

By Akamsthang

I have cherry wood floors and it was recommended to get this product to fill in scratches. When I applied them to the scratches on the floor, it was just like marking them with a crayon. It did nothing but make a mess on my floor. If I could have given it zero stars, I would have! What I did find that works, cooking spray. If you use the generic brand that has color to it like butter or olive oil, it will color the scratch and it will blend in.

Does the job

Does well what it designed to do - to mask install cuts, trim nail holes and accidental dents. Won't hide them completely, but good enough so they won't jump out if you do not know where to look.

      They don't work.

      By Texas Big Dog

I tried to fill a scratch on my laminate floor. Didn't work. I used a wood stain pen instead and got much better results.

      HARD to Use

      By The Shopper

      from Schaumburg, IL

At room temp. (73F) the product was hard to use and difficult to wipe off excess.
With Brazilian KOA a black crayon would be usefull along with the other colors.

          A:

Although very durable, it is normal to find minor scratches as result of daily wear and tear. Fortunately, this situation is easily remedied with the aid of a laminate floor repair kit. These repair kits may include acrylic or latex putty, wax pencils or crayons and are color coded to match the floor. In the event that your color or style of flooring has been discontinued, you can purchase a generic kit from your local hardware store. Always take a plank of flooring with you, in order to select the correct color.

For more serious damage, it might be necessary to replace the damaged boards. The introduction of glueless laminate flooring has resulted in a floor that is both easy to install and repair.
