  • Q:

I have installed select maple pre-finished hardwood flooring that we purchased from your Scarborough, ME store. I would like to replace my metal vent insert floor grills with this maple product. The inside measurement of the floor grills I want to repace is 11 1/2" x 2 1/4". The exposed floor vent measures 13 1/2" x 3 1/4". Will the 2" x 12" fit? The vents I want to repace were not special order vents. Thank you.

      A:

      Not likely.

      2 x 12 inside measurement is 3-3/4 x 13-1/4 inches. We don't have them that narrow.
