Comments about 7.5 LFT Mill Town Antique Cherry Laminate Reducer:

While I would warn caution to anyone looking to purchase the antique cherry planks I would strongly encourage people to only purchase this product if you can see it first. Don't trust it will match the flooring. Our reducers were very orange and clearly of oak pattern? Should have returned them. Look elsewhere unless they meet your inspection on site.

Strip made it very eas to finish off the flooring project. The strip used to hold down the transition strip was a bit of a hassle to get nailed down properly in order to cover what needed to be covered. Other then that great looks and good product

Laminates are probably the toughest floor covering besides ceramic against scratching. But nothing is bullet proof.

This product is represented to me moisture resistant, can this be installed in a kitchen or bathroom effectively?

                A:

This product can be installed in a kitchen or a 1/2 bath, but not a full bathroom. Keep in mind it is moisture resistant but not water proof. If you were to have a pipe leak, over flow toilet, or a dishwasher leak the flooring could start to swell at the seams.

            • Q:

What kind of laminate flooring would you recommend for a restaurant? The reviews all seem to mention the durability of the floors, but can they withstand the daily traffic? In essence, the traffic is limited to the pathways in between tables..underneath the tables should hold their "new" look.

              Thanks.

                A:

Laminate flooring with an Abrasive Criteria rating of 3 or higher would be suitable for a restaurant. They are very durable and can withstand daily traffic. These products also carry a commercial warranty which can be found on the Lumber Liquidator website just click on the customer care link at the top, right corner on the main page.
