NIRVANA Plus by Dream Home- 10mm Springer Mountain Oak Laminate Flooring- 25 Year Warranty

Dream Home's Nirvana line of laminate floors will fill your home with harmonious style.
Nirvana Laminate Flooring StructureThis product has it all: a 10mm moisture-resistant core PLUS a 2mm pre-glued sound-proofing foam underlay, the feel of real wood grain and a 25 year warranty.

Quick Installation Tips:
- Designed for glue-less laying, and must be laid as a "floating floor".
- Subfloor must be clean, flat, smooth, and level.
- Moisture barrier is required for installations over concrete.
- Make sure the panels are mixed sufficiently when you install them so that you do not end up with too many identical, light or dark panels next to each other.

IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE ADDITIONAL PADDING:
Laminates having pre-attached padding can be installed over an underlayment. When doing so, Lumber Liquidators recommends the use of our Bellawood Premium underlayment or ECO Silent Sound underlayment. These quality underlayments will best support the joints while ensuring superior thermal sound reduction qualities and are highly recommended for use with condominium associations, project planners and building specifiers.

NIRVANA Flooring Advantages:
- Real wood grain
- No glue and no nails needed
- Easy Click Installation
- Moisture resistant board
- Thickness: 10mm + 2mm pre-glued underlayment
- AC Rating: 3
- 25 Year Warranty

After doing a LOT of shopping around and almost buying some cheap ($.89 sq ft) floors, I ended up choosing this one because it was thicker, had attached underlayment, and previous reviewers raved about it.

I was not disappointed in the least! They say to order extra in case some are damaged, but so far I've laid over 80 boxes and have only had two pieces that were slightly damaged, but I was able to cut them and use them for end pieces, so I've essentially had no waste, other than a few bum cuts I've made.

Save yourself some heartache and physical pain and buy the tools recommended for installation...and READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION! I speak from experience on this!!

I would recommend this to anyone.

    Beautiful!

    By Hello Newman!

    from Maine

We originally chose this flooring for my home office. It fit the character of our 200-year-old Cape perfectly. We loved it so much, we recently used it in our master bedroom suite, and bought enough to also do my husband's home office and our guest room. The professional contractor we used originally recommended this type of flooring, and they were able to lay it in no time at all. Beautiful!

    laminate flooring

Used this produced through are house, ect bathrooms and kitchen. It looks great easy to clean sweep or dust in 5 mins my house is about 1400 sq. ft. Must use a laminate floor cleaner for floor, never steam clean this floor from what I here people I know have had things happen if you steam clean. If you decide to do it yourself make shore you have 2 tools a mallet and a piece that fits on the side ti help you bang the laminate in place you really should have 2 people it makes it easy. When we did the one room in our rental for the first time it took us 10 hours to do 200 square ft. Because we listed to someone and they said we could do the cuts after you can not we did not realize this till we were half way through. Must do cuts as you are going along. We had to take that half apart and start over. Lost about 3 hours, so floor should take about 6 to 7 hours to do about 200 sq ft fist time. Once you get the hang of it, cut that by about a third. But over all I am so glad I but this floor down. If you can go for the extra money let someone who knows put it down. We are glad we did because we can say we put the floor down It dose make you feel good.

We finally upgraded from carpet to this in the whole downstairs (minus the kitchen) and installed it in the dining room, office/den, and living room.
My husband had never installed any sort of flooring before but he learned and did an amazing job. It took about three days to do 2 rooms of similar size (11x12ish) and we also have an 11 month old. He drops and bangs things constantly, and this has not scratched or dented easily at all. With the way it gets abused already, you think it would be a mess so quickly!

We are really happy with this and can't wait to install it upstairs too!

My husband laid these floors last week. This was his first time EVER laying laminate floors, and once he got the hang of it things went smoothly. Our only issues were that some of the boards are chipped in the corner.. In one box every single board was damaged in the corner. They did turn out beautifully! I'm also pleasantly surprised that our 3 dogs (large dogs) haven't managed to add a scratch!

One of the easiest floors to install and I've put in dozens. I hate the look of beveled edge or it would have been 5 stars. Installing this product for my sister in-law. The finished look is better than most Shaw and Tarkett laminates. The attached pad does a good job reducing noise and has a good feel not like most laminates. Just wish Lumber Liquidators was closer to my city 5 hours just to get there is a bit much but the drive was worth it.

        Good Product for the Price

        By J&N

        from Washington DC

        Pros

        • Nice Texture

        Cons

        • Misglued Padding
        • Tricky Tongue Groove

        Best Uses

This flooring was installed in a basement condo as the living room, replaced old carpet. Subfloor was concrete, easily placed over Poly sheeting. Tongue & groove was a bit tricky to 'click' in place and lie flat, usually took several tries. Easy to install. Color variation was consistent throughout 20+ boxes. Love the texture of the wood and grooved edges- makes it look more like real wood floors.

What is the proper way to install the stair nosing on this product?
Asked on 4/2/2013 by Rob from EHT, NJ

            1 answer

            • CUSTOMER CARE

              A:

Generally you would cut off the overlapping stair nose and then install laminate nosing and flooring. However, laminate flooring and nosing isn't a great idea for stairs, fine for one or two steps but we caution the use of it on an entire staircase. People do it but it can be unsafe. Check your local building codes.  Hardwood flooring and nosing works great, when laminate IS used you must fully glue will 100% urethane adhesive without the use of padding, padding attached laminate must have paddling scraped off.

              A:

Despite today's advanced technology, water spills, dirt and other abrasive substances can damage a wood floor's finish. Location, traffic patterns, how often the floor is vacuumed and cleaned, children and/or pets are all factors that influence wear and durability.
I would suggest considering one of our vinyl Tranquility products. We have a 2mm peel and stick and now a 4mm and 5mm solid vinyl click together products that can go in full bath areas or where moisture is a concern. Thank you for your inquiry.
