Comments about White Painted Colonial Baseboard:

Really revitalizes the look of a room when doing flooring work. I used it to re-baseboard and I'm really pleased with the results. I left the primed boards in, they held air gunned in brads fine, as well as removals, and are ready for painting.

How do you or can you stain white base boards to match hard wood floors?I just installed Remington Oak hardwood floors and need to replace the base boards.

Unfortunately these white "primed" baseboards will not take a stain, I suppose you could do a faux finish to try and match the stained flooring or purchase an unfinished oak base board and stain to match.

How do you install baseboard in rooms that have different floor heights? I have a new hardwood floor (Brazilian Teak from Lumber Liquidators) that is 1/2 inch shorter than the ceramic tile floor in the kitchen. The 3 and 1/4 inch base molding is a continious run between both rooms and no inconspicious place to transition to the next level.
