Interested in LL Sponsorship

We would like to have LLI sponsor us, who do I contact?

  • Lumber Liquidators, Inc. (the "Company") recognizes its role and responsibility as a good steward of its resources and its need to participate in appropriate charitable activities.  The Company is authorized to contribute to charities that represent the following general interests:
    • Human services
    • Education
    • Health - mental and physical
    • Civic
    • Education
    • Cultural arts
  • All charitable contributions made by the Company shall conform to the definition in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code ("Code") including:
    • Federal, state, or local government units if the charitable contribution is used exclusively for public purposes;
    • U.S. organizations that are organized and operated exclusively for charitable, scientific, literary, or religious purposes.
  • All charitable contributions shall be gifts made in cash or other property and shall meet the conditions necessary to be tax deductible for U.S. income tax purposes.
  • All donations shall be verified by the recipient as required by Section 170(c) of the Code. (170(c) states that a written communication from the donee showing the name of the donee organization, the date of the contribution and the amount of the contribution.)
  • The Company shall not support organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, religion, creed, age, gender, veteran status, physical challenge, or national origin.
  • Examples of ineligible contributions include:
    • Individuals
    • Religious organizations, except in circumstances where the religious organization is only functioning as a facilitator for a program otherwise eligible under the provisions of this policy
    • Capital campaigns
    • Political parties or political candidates
  • US contributions shall be made only to organizations recognized by the United States Treasury as tax-exempt for charitable purchases under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code .
  • Eligibility does not guarantee a contribution.
